Cara's Inspiration
The name 'Cara' was inspired by my little girl Maeve — who was the catalyst for starting this journey. I wanted to call her Cara but my partner wouldn’t agree on the name so I named my business (my second baby) Cara instead! Giving birth was a powerful, life-changing experience that deepened my connection to myself, to nature, and to the importance of true support during life’s big transitions. Maeve reminded me of the strength we all carry and inspired me to help others reconnect with their own.
My Approach
I came into this work through my own personal journey. I live with endometriosis, and over the years, I turned to alternative therapies to manage both the physical pain and the crippling anxiety I experienced in my younger years. These challenges led me to explore healing practices that truly supported me- mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

With a background in mental health, advocacy, and community development, I’ve worked for many years on people-focused projects in both Ireland and the UK. I have worked in the following areas homelessness, addiction, mental health illness, suicide prevention and intervention, sexual abuse, health promotion and fighting for peoples rights and entitlements. This was done through both group work and in depth one to one work. I believe in supporting the whole person—mind, body, and soul. I invest in people first and I’m deeply passionate about creating a space that is safe, respectful, and authentic- where others can heal, grow, and feel empowered.

I honour the healing power of the natural world and work closely with its rhythms and transitions in my practice. I also draw on elements from the Shamanic teachings and Mediumship work, using intuitive and energetic tools to help guide and support others on their healing journeys.

My work is informed by my core values: authenticity, empowerment, respect and safety. My approach is intuitive, integrative and holistic—supporting people to trust themselves, empower themselves and heal in ways that truly honour who they are. I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all, and I work intuitively and holistically, always meeting people where they are at.
